Students at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Itanagar, are eligible for a number of scholarships and scholarship programs.

Some of the scholarship schemes available at NERIST are:

1. Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the top-ranking students in each semester based on their academic performance.
2. National Scholarship: Students belonging to minority communities, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other economically weaker sections are eligible for this scholarship.
3. NEC Scholarship: Students belonging to the North Eastern Council (NEC) states are eligible for this scholarship.
4. NERIST Endowment Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who belong to economically weaker sections of society.
5. State Government Scholarship: Students who belong to the state of Arunachal Pradesh are eligible for various scholarship schemes offered by the state government.

Apart from these, NERIST also offers financial assistance to students who are facing financial difficulties. Students can apply for the financial assistance scheme by submitting an application along with relevant documents.
