Educational qualification
- Master's degree in Veterinary Science or a related field with a minimum of 55 marks.
- Candidates who have passed the National Eligibility Test( NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in the relevant discipline are given preference.
Entrance examination
Candidates must pass the OUATPh.D. Entrance Examination for Veterinary Science. it consists two phase:

- Phase II Descriptive test for 100 marks
