A private institution with its headquarters in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Avantika University was founded in 2017. It is the first planned Centered University in India and is sponsored by the MIT Group of Institutions in Pune, which has a demonstrated history of more than 38 years in the higher education sector. Engineering and Design programmes are available at the institution at the undergraduate and graduate levels. JEE Mains and MIT DAT are two examples of the entrance tests used to determine admission.
