YCMOU Admission 2023 has begun the registration process for a total of 16 online programs for overseas students.

YCMOU also offers Certificates, diplomas, and Bachelor's and master's programs for overseas students belonging to SAARC, Non-SAARC & FSRI, and NRI categories.

YCMOU has launched a new PG Course, Master of Arts in Folklore and Culture Studies (MAFCS). Also, the University has released its new guidelines for Candidates who want to apply for any of the courses offered by YCMOU.

Admission of eligibility to the University courses is done on the basis of both their merit as well as their performance on YCMOU Entrance exams. This complete process is done in both modes, i.e., online and offline to give the students and applicants ease for the entrance exams.

YCMOU Selection Criteria 2023

As we have discussed above the YCMOU Admission 2023 is done on the basis of either entrance-based or based on scores obtained in the previous qualifying examination. Here are some of the major information about YCMOU Selection Criteria 2023:

YCMOU accepts Admissions to courses like BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BSW, BAVTM, etc based on merit, that is scores obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent.

BLIS admissions are based on scores in bachelor’s degree or one-year Diploma in Library Science are eligible to apply.

BBA in Retail (RL) admission is based on merit. But BBA in Service Management (SM) admission is based on entrance followed by an interview.

Applicants are shortlisted for MBA admission based on their bachelor’s scores plus OPENMAT scores.

For admission to M.Com, MA, or M.Sc. applicants are required to have passed a bachelor’s degree in their corresponding subject.

MCA admission is based on scores in bachelor’s with Mathematics or pursues BCS12 course concurrently with MCA.

MTTM aspirants can apply if they hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or UG degree in related subjects like Tourism, Hotel Management, etc.

Ph.D. applicants must hold an M.Phil degree or Master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate.

PG Diploma admissions are based on graduation in any relevant subject. While Diploma admissions are based on scores obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent.

YCMOU  B.Ed. and M.Ed. Admission 2023 is done on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam conducted by YCMOU  which is held in the month of August Every Year.

To apply for the entrance exam, the candidate will be required to submit the YCMOU  online application form along with the application fee only through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “YCMOU ”. Later on, the students can verify their documents upon receiving an offer letter for admission.

YCMOU Ph.D. Selection Criteria

 The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have been awarded M.Phil in the concerned subject are exempted from PET.

PET Exam Pattern-

PET will be conducted in Online Mode. 

Two Papers, each of 100 marks and have a 1-hour duration.

Paper 1 will be common to all the aspirants who have Research and General Aptitude questions.

Paper 2 will have a PG course, NET, and SLET syllabus.
