SPU offers various UG, PG, M.Phil., and Ph.D. courses in various disciplines. SPU has released the guidelines for getting admission in different courses, in which admission will also be conducted separately. Below are some of the highlights of SPU Admission 2023:

• SPU offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, BCA, BHM, and B.Ed courses at the UG level.

• Admission to most of the UG Courses is offered on the basis of the merit of the candidate through the marks obtained by them in the 12th class.

• At the PG level, it offers MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, LL.M & M.Tech courses in various disciplines.

• Admission to most of the PG Courses is offered on the basis of SPU entrance exams.

• SPU BTech admission process is conducted by Punjab State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counseling based on a candidate's rank in JEE Main 

• For MTech, seats are largely filled by candidates with a valid GATE score

• Admission to the MPharm course is accepted through GPAT scores

• MSc admission is based on a candidate's performance in the SPU Common Entrance Test (SPUCEE)

• A relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ST candidates on the minimum eligibility criteria for all the programs

How to Submit SPU Application Form 2023?

As we have discussed above SPU has opened its admissions through both offline and online means. The applicants who are applying for SPU Courses have to Submit their online application form on the official website of the University. The Applicants can follow these common steps to apply for their admissions:

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of SPU Jalandhar (https://www.SPU.in/).

• Now, you should Click on the ‘Online Application’ tab and choose the subcategory of UG/ PG/ diploma/ certificate programs as per their choice

• Here you will get access to the SPU Admission form 2023.

• Now, Click on the ‘submit’ button. The registration form opens up in front of you.

• Register yourself by filling out the application form carefully and paying the application fee.

• Application registration fee may be submitted through a Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility (for online applicants only).

• Now, Download the duly-filled application form and send the same along with the mandatory documents to any of the SPU regional centers for further reference.
