The Ministry of Education, Government of India, established the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to rank higher education institutions in India based on various criteria, including outreach and inclusivity, research and professional practice, teaching, learning and resources, and perception.
The NIRF has not yet given Satavahana University, Karimnagar, a ranking. However, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an independent arm of the University Grants Commission (UGC) that evaluates and accredits higher education institutions in India based on a number of quality indicators, has given the university an "A" grade.
While NIRF ranking is one of the parameters to evaluate the performance of an institution, it is important to note that there are other factors such as the quality of education, research facilities, faculty, infrastructure, and industry collaborations that also play an important role in determining the overall reputation and performance of an institution.
