As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 rankings, National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJAA), Guwahati has been ranked in the 41-50 band in the law category.

NIRF is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, which ranks higher educational institutions in India based on various parameters such as teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and peer perception.

The NIRF ranking is considered as one of the most prestigious rankings of higher educational institutions in India and is widely used by students and their parents to make informed decisions about their academic choices.
