The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has launched the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to rate higher education institutions in India based on multiple factors, including teaching, learning, research, and innovation.
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, India is a newly established university dedicated to forensic sciences. It became functional in 2021, and therefore, has not been ranked by NIRF yet.
Remember that the NIRF rankings are based on information provided by institutions through a thorough online survey and that they are typically released in April of each year. Only the top-performing institutions in each area receive a rank in these fiercely contested lists.
As a result, it is anticipated that NFSU will be qualified to take part in NIRF rankings once it has built a reputation and provided the required information for assessment. The university hopes to develop forensic science research and become a world leader in the subject. As a result, it will probably continue to receive high rankings in the years to come.
