Private institution K. K. University (KKU) is situated in Beraunti, close to Bihar Sharif, in the Nalanda district of Bihar, India. The institution, together with Sandip University, Sijoul, was founded in 2017 by Samajik Kalyan Sanstha under the provisions of the Bihar Private Universities Act, 2013,. Following the passage of the Private Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2017 in March 2017, which loosened the requirements for the creation of private universities in Bihar, both universities received approval from the Bihar government in May 2017.
