• Applicants are shortlisted for MBA admission based on their bachelor’s scores plus OPENMAT scores.

• For admission to M.Com, MA, or M.Sc. applicants are required to have passed a bachelor’s degree in their corresponding subject.

• MCA admission is based on scores in bachelor’s with Mathematics or pursues BCS12 course concurrently with MCA.

• MTTM aspirants can apply if they hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or UG degree in related subjects like Tourism, Hotel Management, etc.

• Ph.D. applicants must hold an M.Phil degree or Master’s degree with at least 55% aggregate.

• PG Diploma admissions are based on graduation in any relevant subject. While Diploma admissions are based on scores obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent.

Selection Criteria for IGNOU MBA Admission 2023

The selection of the candidates for all IGNOU management programs (MBA, DIM, PGDIM, and PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM, and FMP) will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT Exam, which is conducted twice in the year.
