Indian Maritime University( IMU) Kolkata offers several literacy to meritorious and eligible scholars. These literacy are aimed at furnishing fiscal backing to scholars who are unfit to bear the cost of their education. 

 Some of the literacy available at IMU Kolkata are 

 IMU Kolkata Merit Scholarship : This education is awarded to scholars who have secured a rank in the top 5 in the IMU Common Entrance Test( CET). The education covers the full education figure for the entire duration of the program. 

 IMU Kolkata Means- cum- Merit Scholarship : This education is awarded to scholars who have secured a rank in the top 25 in the IMU CET and have a gross family income of lower thanRs.4.5 lakhs per annum. The education covers 50 of the education figure for the entire duration of the program. 

 IMU Kolkata SC ST Scholarship : This education is awarded to scholars belonging to the slated estate( SC) and Scheduled Tribe( ST) orders. The education covers the full education figure for the entire duration of the program. 

 IMU Kolkata OBC Scholarship : This education is awarded to scholars belonging to the Other Backward Classes( OBC) order. The education covers 50 of the education figure for the entire duration of the program. 

 To apply for these literacy, scholars need to fill out the education operation form and submit it along with the needed documents. The selection of campaigners for the literacy is grounded on their performance in the IMU CET and their eligibility criteria.
