Goa University provides eligible and deserving students with a variety of scholarship programmes. Academic standing, financial need, and other considerations will be used to choose the students who are eligible for these awards. 

A few of the scholarships that Goa University offers are as follows:

  1. Prize for merit – This award is given to students who scored highly on their past qualifying exams. Depending on the programme level and the course, the scholarship amount may differ.
  2. Indira Gandhi Postgraduate Scholarship for Single Girl Child - The University Grants Commission (UGC) offers this grant to unmarried girls enrolled in postgraduate courses.
  3. Minority grant - The Indian government offers this grant to students from underrepresented groups, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists.
  4. SC/ST Scholarship - Students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) groups are eligible for this scholarship.
  5. EWS Scholarship - Students that fall under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category are eligible for this scholarship.

Students must submit an application for these scholarships via the university's official website in order to be eligible. Additionally, they must submit the required paperwork and meet the prerequisites for each scholarship programme.
