CONCERNING THE LL.M. PROGRAM:

The goal of the LL.M. One Year Program's introduction is to help LL.M. programme candidates improve their professional personas by combining legal knowledge with a practical approach. With a dynamic, adaptable curriculum delivered by qualified, experienced staff, this young university seeks to adopt an interdisciplinary approach to legal studies.


CONCERNING THE ADMISSION:

Entrance to the one-year Master of Law (LL.M.) programme at the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University in Jaipur would only be granted on the basis of merit.

01 Year DURATION (Two Semesters)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION

'THE STATE FUNDED UNIVERSITIES OF RAJASTHAN' IS DENOTED HEREINAFTER WHEREVER THE TERM 'UNIVERSITY' IS USED IN THIS DOCUMENT.

A candidate must have obtained at least 55% of the total possible marks in the Bachelor of Laws (P) degree examination at the university or in a different exam that has been approved by the Syndicate as being equivalent, or they must hold an LL.B.(P) three- or five-year degree and have completed any of the university's diploma programmes in the faculty of law with 55% of the total possible marks in the diploma examination (i.e., hold a law degree).

Admission to the L.L.M. Part I Examination is contingent upon having completed a regular course of study at one of the affiliated colleges for an academic year.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor of Law (P) or Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant field with a minimum cumulative score of 55% for UR and EWS and 50% for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and Divyang.

• Divyang: Person with Disabilities; UR: Unreserved Category; SC: Scheduled Caste; ST: Scheduled Tribe; OBC: Other Backward Class; MBC: Most Backward Class.


Admission requirements

The university considered the restrictions when conducting the entrance test for admittance to the LL.M. degree in light of the pandemic crisis. As a result, it has been agreed that the admission process may be based on the student's performance in the qualifying exam. i.e., a baccalaureate in law or a postgraduate law diploma exam. No additional document in this regard will be accepted by the University following the percentage claimed by the candidate at the time of filling out his or her online application form will only be recognised as final for creating the merit list of admission.

The candidate has until the deadline for submitting the online application form to make changes to the form.

Intake and Reservation: Intake: 60 (Sixty) Seats; Reservation: In accordance with State Government regulations and policies. According to government regulations, reservations would also be given to Divyang (PWD).


The following areas may offer specialisation:

1. Administrative and Constitutional Law

2. Intellectual Property Law

3. Corporate and business law

4. Security and Criminal Law

Any of the optional groups may only be formed if at least five students are present, and only if the faculty member who specialises in that area is available.


STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP-I

1. The applicant must complete the registration process, which will start on June 22, 2022, and submit the Application Form for Admission to LL.M. One Year Semester Course at https://admission.alujaipur.ac.in.

STEP-II

1. The candidate must pay the appropriate application cost, which is Rs. 1200 for all categories, online using a payment channel after completing personal information.

2. No other method of fee payment will be accepted.

STEP-III 1. The candidate must upload his or her photo, signature, class X and xiii report cards, bachelor's degree in law or PG law diploma examination results (original/online), category certificate (if applicable), and P.H. certificate (if applicable) after the fee has been successfully submitted.
