In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 rankings released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur has been ranked 15th among all medical colleges in India.

Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception are among the characteristics used to determine NIRF rankings.

In the individual category rankings, AIIMS Raipur has been ranked as follows:

• 9th in the category of Top Medical Colleges in India
• 3rd in the category of Top Government Medical Colleges in India
• 5th in the category of Top Medical Colleges in India for Research
