National Drama School : The fundamental qualifying requirement for admission to the diploma programme is a graduation in any discipline from a recognised university in India or abroad. NSD provides a diploma programme in acting and theatre techniques and design.

The applicant must have taken part in at least six distinct theatrical plays, and they must have supporting documentation—such as a certificate of participation, a brochure, a leaflet, media clippings, etc.—attached to their application.

• Candidates must have a recommendation letter from at least one theatre expert, as well as working understanding of Hindi and English.

Candidates have two options for applying to NSD: online or offline by postal mail. The application form can be accessed on when registration is open. There is a 50 INR application fee. Applicants must pay 225 INR to order the application form and prospectus offline.

Sanakaar Rang Toli, also known as The Repertory Company and Theatre-In-Education Company, are the school's two performing arts departments.
