Vidyasagar College of Optometry and Vision Science ( VCOVS) is a private,non-profit, tone- backing council located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The council was established in 2008 by the Vidyasagar Eye Care Foundation, anon-governmental association devoted to furnishing quality eye care to the people of West Bengal. 

 VCOVS offers a four- time Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.) degree program and a two- time Master of Optometry (M.Optom.) degree program. TheB.Optom. program is accredited by the Indian Council of Optometry ( ICO) .

The council has a well- equipped lot with ultramodern laboratories, classrooms, and a clinical training center. The clinical training center is combined with the Vidyasagar Eye Hospital, one of the largest eye hospitals in Kolkata. 

 VCOVS has a strong faculty platoon with moxie in all areas of optometry. The council has a strong placement record. The maturity of the scholars are placed in reputed eye hospitals and conventions in India and abroad.
