SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) which was formerly known as SRM University, is a Private higher education institute deemed to be a university. The University is located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in the year 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur and got its deemed status in 2002.
