Rajkot, Gujarat, India's RK University (RKU) is a private university. Along with three other universities, it was established by the state of Gujarat under the Private State University Act by a gazetted notification dated 12 October 2011. RK University has been operating as RK Group of Colleges since 2005, providing degrees in engineering, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and management studies on a campus of around 100 acres on the Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway. More than 5500 students attend it. The facility provides housing for over 1200 students.

In the areas of medical, health sciences, pharmacy, engineering, computer application, management, sciences, agriculture, and design, RK University provides a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses. Additionally, it provides doctoral study programmes.

The university has a yearly sports and cultural event called Galore. Students and instructors often plan it in February. Many students from other nearby colleges participate in the festival. Every October, RK University observes its founding day. Aside from these two principal celebrations, RK University also holds annual techno-cultural and physio-cultural events.
