People's Education Society University, (PESU), is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.PESU was established in 1972 by the People's Education Society (PES) with about 40 students in a rented gymnasium in Bengaluru. And in 1988 PESU was started as PESIT as the first engineering college under the PES group of institutions. 

The college was then affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and later became an autonomous college under VTU. PESIT College was established in 2013 as a State Private University by the PES University Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 16 of 2013), and renamed PES University, Ring Road Campus.

PESU RR campus is spread over 25 acres, And in this more than 15000 students do education.PES University made progress in education in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, science, arts, social sciences, computer applications, humanities, and management. It is ranked fifth in PES University Outlook-ICARE India University Rankings 2020 and is the only university in Karnataka to rank in the top 30.
