The Agricultural University is situated on National Highway 76 between Kota and Baran and has its headquarters at Borkhera Farm in Kota. Kota district is located in Rajasthan's South-East and is part of the Humid South-Eastern Plain Zone (agro climatic zone V). It is located between 75037' and 77026' East longitude and 23045' to 26038' North latitude. Six districts make up AUK's jurisdiction: Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur. It makes up 9.98% of the state's geographical area, 12.67% of the total human population, 9.4% of the live animal population, 31.59% of the forest area, and 20.6% of the net sown land. The main focus of AUK's service area is the development and education of modern agricultural, horticultural, and forestry methods for the rural masses' sustainable livelihood.
